Oh man - if this character is a chameleon, it would immediately bring into focus their comment about spoiling the gameplay possibilities.

So on the extreme conditional that it *is* a chameleon.... well, I reckon that would introduce some interesting gameplay possibilities.

Hah, this is great! Greatly done! I actually hit the print key and saved a screenshot of that first image as soon as it showed up. Just checked it myself. That is exactly the kind of teasing that gets me even more excited.

Nice find! I didn't spot this. It reminds me of Gex (well, about as much as one eye and a piece of green skin can). I wonder what the 'bird' looks like...

Wow that was really interesting. The partner character doesn't SEEM like a bird. you can just barely make it out on just above our lizard protagonist. It's purple and looks like it might be smiling. I just had a thought... what if instead of a bird, it's a cutesy insect-like character?

I really hope that's a chameleon in the screenshot. It could add a dimension of stealth to the gameplay, like in the Sly Cooper franchise! Additionally, the team could implement the hookshot-esque tongue ability from Chameleon twist 1 and 2, plus the ability to climb up walls, and grab and eat enemies from a distance.

The character reminds me a bit of Snivy (the Pokemon). For the other creature I would guesse a woodpecker, but it's a longshot.

I have to be honest and say I'm not sold on the potential character design yet, I'm sure when we get an actual look at him/her we'll get a truer indicator, but the gameplay opportunities it would afford playing as a Chameleon could bring are quite limitless really when you think about it; that I most certainly am excited for.

This fan art was drawn before we got the closer look. I'm surprised that it looks remarkably similar, right down to the red around the eyes. How did the artist know that from the shadow image?

IDK but for some reason the lizard character makes me think hiding & stealth may be a feature in the game METAL GEAR BANJO KAZOOIE CONFIRMED!
