Yes, you read that right. The bandicoot is back.

AWESOME! Although I don't own a PS4, I have very fond memories of the classic that was released on the original PlayStation. 2016 turns out to be a time machine to the 90s (if that new game will be like the original ones).

In any case, I'm all for making the old platforming brands strong!

I said the same thing when Yet nobody else, aside from @Scrubber, bothered on watching the post.

In an EDIT I said the following thing in my Ty's comeback post (that I mentioned above), that people might need to look at: "Is it me or are 3D platformers slowly starting to make a resurgence in the gaming market this year? First FreezeMe for the WiiU, some rumors that Conker and Crash Bandicoot are coming back, Psychonauts 2 confirmed, and now this? What's next? Rare finally does something with Banjo-Kazooie? Somebody buys the Croc IP series from Jez San (former founder of the now-defunct Argonaut Games company) and makes a Kickstarter to reboot the game? The world may never know."

With that being said, I really hope Crash comes back, not just in toy form thanks to NECA, but I want Sony to revive Crash back from its ashes.

Hopefully Naughty Dog will hit the game development if not this could be the next Sonic the Hedgehog...

I'll have to see the final product before getting even remotely excited. Crash relies on a very simple formula, so the quality of the game comes from the level design, not the core mechanics.
