Hm just rewatched the IGN Toybox Stage Demo and discovered something. Well, nothing big and everyone else has seen it probably before, but take a look:

On a wall are the letters "TOYBOX" and a small sign on it. Is that a "+"? Could that mean, that this version, is the Toybox+?

Just seeing this gameplay again makes to want me to play it now. :D
It looks so smooth and there is so much to explore!

Please please please release it next week guys!

Oh man, they really think they can put the finishing touches on the Toybox within 12 more days? IDK PlayPlay, maybe you should give it 17? Ya know, cause, Team 17 and all.

Was just thinking. Perhaps Taylor could sticky some kind of Toybox Feedback thread for when it's there. Perhaps include some sort of formatting in how to bring the feedback. What areas to consider etc. w/e?

Also... Just read the tweet from Burke! Accordion... Perhaps something piratey?

I bet that the ToyBoxes (presumably both the regular AND the ToyBox+) are all finished up and Playtonic is currently working on getting their method of distribution ready. The demos are a gift to those backers who chipped in just a little extra so they're probably working hard to ensure that the demos only go to the proper people and won't easily be leaked to the public to be downloaded by those who didn't pledge the required amount or who didn't pledge any money at all. I expect that people will want multiple downloads to have the demo on multiple computers but Playtonic is likely going to try their best to make sure they can keep the ToyBoxes solely in the hands of those who pledged extra for them.

More easy said than done. I don't see how they could realise that. If the Toybox is an offline experience (which it will be for reasons obvious) there will be pirates.

Maybe they could distribute it via Steam, or Humble Bundle? That way the latter could offer a DRM free version and the former would be tied to an individual's account.

To be honest I had no idea there was a toybox+. I saw that the toybox on the kickstarter was $32 so I went ahead and paid that thinking I would get the full deal. I would've happily paid $55 for the totbox+ if I saw it. I am sad

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pays to read. It was mentioned a bunch of times in the text, tiers, and the chart.

Getting the game on Steam is the best way to prevent pirating, but it's probably pretty hard to do that. Maybe they can include activation keys that stop working after redeeming them 5 times? That way it could allow sharing between a few computers, but would be pretty hard to pirate.
