Will this have boss battles like in banjo tooie?

Postby comperko » Thu Jan 26, 2017 3:57 pm

The trailers and info dont indicate boss battles in each world although Im sure it will have final boss battle. One of the things that banjo tooie improved over banjo kazooie which I liked is that it included proper boss battle in each world.Yes there were some mini bosses in banjo kazooie but that barely even counts.

the kickstarter promised a boss battle for every level, so don't worry

I really hope the boss battles will be like in Banjo-Tooie. The first boss in the jungle world looks kinda lame and not well designed.

Is that confirmed as a boss? Doesn't look like a boss.

The Wiki is unofficial and completely fan made.

Note how it has no references, period. We can't say that it's a boss unless someone find a playtonic message talking about it being a boss. This could be something hard to find like in a gameplay demo video they might offhandedly mention it.
Woaaaah, it finally came out! :o

The recent OPM issue confirms that Rampo is a boss! Between him and the "Head of Security," I think the bosses look great.

OPM does indeed confirm Rampo as Tribalstack Tropics' boss.

I agree with some of you that he doesn't quite look like a boss; I imagine more of a 'mini-game baddie', a bit like Mr Vile, or Motzhand (could they be deemed bosses as well?). I guess you have to roll up the ramp and hit his eye, or something, whilst dodging what he spits out, which seems less of a battle and more of a 'game' to me (I'm aware of the meta irony).

Until we see more, we can't say for certain what it will be like, but it does look interesting and fun, and it probably serves the purpose of teaching the Reptile Roll move to newbies. Maybe just not the type of 'boss' people were expecting... though this is just the first world.

I just hope it has a nice dialog cutscene at the beginning of the fight and some menacing music that let us know the boss fight is eminent!
