Wow, been a while since I was on here. Came by because I recently played through (most) of the game again, and was curious if the silence on Playtonic's part was possibly less so on the forum. Oh well

I'd like to weight in on the topic at hand though. I can totally understand some stretch goals not being met, although I wouldn't be super happy about it obviously. Right now, my biggest concern is just wanting to know exactly what they are doing. Playing through the game again has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, simply because of all the little things that can still be fixed (or rather "improved"), but have yet to be. This wouldn't be so bad if I knew what to expect with DLC, or knew that they were already under development of the next game (the next YL game, IDC about any others really).
I also understand that making otherwise easy fixes to a game that's on four different platforms may be a real pain. Playing through this last time, I feel like I've noticed a lot of things that seemed to be driven more by "Oh, this is neat what we can do with Unity, let's put it in" versus some grand plan, like this game was really the team getting their feet wet with Unity. So maybe doing tiny patches is even worse. Nevertheless, it's for this reason that I have a lot of faith the next game will be significantly better: they'll have a much better idea of how to handle the engine and what not, and might be able to focus more on pure game design.
Taylor, out of curiosity, do you have regular contact with the Playtonic people? As in, might you be aware of anything on the horizon, or are you in the dark just as much as us?
